Yes I think it should be clear that Mageia doesn't do anything special for Mandriva, which is treated like any other contributor, and is independant. Maybe we can prepare a blog post to publish after the announce from Mandriva to remind this and avoid possible misunderstandings ? And reason for keeping this private is that it was requested by them, and as Mageia is not taking any decision or doing something special about this, I think there is no reason to refuse to keep this info private for now.
